i'll be upgrading my iMac tonight to Tiger from Jaguar and have the external Firewire LaCie d2 200 gig drive.
I've backed up my internal drive to the LaCie.
Has anyone encountered problems with this ? WIll Tiger be able to recognize the LaCie and will I be able to retreive my programs and data from the LaCie ?
Thanks!

Sorry, duplicate post. Don't know how it happened. Still don't know how to delete duplicates on this system.

You should have no problem with the LaCie provided that you disconnect it when intalling Tiger. If I were you, then I would make a bootable clone of my internal on the LaCie for 2 reasons. First, doing so will provide you with an easy way of getting back where you started if the need arises. Second, you will be able to use the Migration Assistant to import your files, settings, apps, contacts, etc., etc. into your Tiger internal. In this regard, I would do, and assume your are going to do, an erase and install of Tiger on your internal.
