LaCie Dual Layer DVD+/-R

Anyone have any experience with the LaCie Dual layer drive? how well does it work? Used DVD Studio pro with it? I'm just curious because it would save me some $$ by not using a DLT drive for masters, or do replicators still require a DLT and not a dual layer master disc?

any info would be nice...
