LaCie Firewire 800 PCI Card

I just bought a LaCie Firewire 800 PCI Card. Anyone out there know if this card works with the PowerMac G5 Dual 2Ghz. I have heard many stories about having the card 3.3v or it wont work and I have heard other stories that it doesnt matter the Voltage. Anyone out there have and first hand experience with this card or know of anyone who has. Thanks for the help.
 
No it won't work, I asked LaCie over the phone for a customer that thought they might need more ports, and the official answer was no go in the G5-O.
 
I have heard many different things. LaCie says it doesn't work and other people say it should work. Does anyone have this card in there G5 Dual 2Ghz and it is working fine?
