LaCie Hard Disk not recognised by OS X

I, apparently foolishly, decided to try out OpenSolaris on my Intel iMac. I burned the CD and booted from it. It booted no problem, and I did all this for no reason other than to see what Solaris looks like. I've previously booted live CDs of Linux with no ill effects but this time when I'd finished opening a few programs in OpenSolaris, and closing them - but installing, formatting or deleting NOTHING, I ejected the disk and restarted Leopard...

Now I get nothing from the LaCie drive - I unplugged it and tried it on my PPC Powerbook, and had the same result - Disk Utility gives me the following info:

Total Capacity: 698.6 GB
Write Status: Read / Write
S.M.A.R.T. status: NOT SUPPORTED
PARTITION MAP SCHEME: UNFORMATED

Any ideas?

Obviously nothing has been deleted from my hard drive - it was previously formated into three sections within OS X - how do I get the OS to recognise them again?

Help would be very much appreciated on this one as all my photograph Masters are on my Aperture Partition of the LaCie Drive...
