Lacie Mini Cannot Logon

Hi

I use a lacie ED mini disk via USB at work, the idea being that I will transfer to home working when on maternity break, but having tried to move the disk drive to home it won't logon - I get a message saying "unable to access to users data" after waiting 5 minutes for it to try and logon.

At work i am using an emac, running OSX 10.3.9, at home a classic imac running 10.2.8.

All the IP settings are the same.

Anyone got any ideas?

i can log in to my disc mini fine from any pc in seconds. but when i log into an imac running mac os x 10.4.7 it says cannot access users data. can anyone help?
