Language for Data entry and reporting

I am looking for a languaje in the open source wrld that wil allowme to create some data entry forms and reports connected tha MySQL database.

what tools, languages do you advice for it ?

PHP, baby. It integrates right into your HTML pages, and it comes built into OS X (though you do have to turn it on).
