Launch of a Java program

Hi,

Sorry if I am posting this to the wrong forum. Just wanted a bit of help.

How do I make a pure Java application a double-clickable app on OS X ? Right now, we have to write shell scripts which execute form the Terminal's command prompt.

And also, is it possible to customize the application name which appears on the top left corner of the screen ? Because, in case of a packaged application, the entirepackage name appears as the app name.

If I am in the wrong forum, any directions to which forum I should post this would be hugely welcome.

On http://developer.apple.com/techpubs/macosx/Java/java.html you will see a subheading "Essentials" with a PDF file for download called "Java Development for Mac OS X" In this is a chapter on making "double clickable apps" from jar files. It goes into some detail on using MRJAppBuilder to set up an app with proper name, icon, and so on.
