I am having problems using 'tar' application on my MacOSX 10.7
When I try using the tar command, it fails -
Launch of "tar" failed: the PowerPC architecture is no longer supported.
Most probably my previous installation of Xcode 4.x might have overwritten /usr/bin/tar which is now a Power PC architecture file. So I am stuck with this file and I don't have a backup of that file.
How can I make my tar program work? Can I get the version of tar which came with Mac OSX 10.7 from somewhere? Do I need to re-install OS inorder to bring back the native tar program that came with the OS ?
