LCD Monitor recommendations

I am buying a 19 inch LCD monitor for Christmas and I have a 733 G4 with the Nvidia Gforce video card, does anyone have any recommendations or comments about monitors ?

wait a while. There are some speculations the 20inch apple lcd will be dropped in the price soon.
I think that would be the best choice, huh? ;)

But they both work and look better. They do have adjustability, but unlike others they are calibrated entirely from the OS. Makes things a little easier than having to do everything manually through a set of clumsy buttons. Just my opinion ;)
 
I don't think having to raise or lower the monitor by placing it on a riser or box is the kind of adjustability I need. I don't think there is forward or backword tilt adjustment either.

Oh, that kind of adjustability... Well, Apple is conscious about ergonomics, and I don't see anything wrong about their displays. The display should be in such a height that when you look directly at it, you look at a point 2/3 from the bottom and 1/3 of the top of the viewable area. If you don't, it's your chair that has to be adjusted or your desktop that should be replaced. Just my opinion again.
 
KSV, I did not mean to sound harsh and I appreciate your opinion, my son and I spent last night looking for LCD's on the web and I went shopping today, it seems that the resolution for 99 % in the $600.00 range is 1280 X 1024 and the Apple 17 " is 1280 X 1024 also all though it is $100.00 more. I also found that the so called adjustability on the other LCD's is limited. I guess the chair idea has merit. I really wanted an Apple display but I really want the Cinema Display with the wide screen aspect ratio. This is giving me a headache !

I hope the price for the Apple 17" comes down before Christmas.
