Leaving DVD in player ?????

Simple question: Is it better to leave a game DVD in the DVD player on the comp. or take it out every time you quit playing. Somedays I leave the DVD in because I will quit and restart numerous times in an 8 hour time period. I am an experienced apple user ( 15 yrs.), but just wondering as I had never thought about it before.

Doesn't hurt one way or the other.

If you leave it in and the DVD player somehow breaks, you may have trouble retrieving the disc. That's just about the only consideration, other than the slight extra wear-and-tear on the DVD drive from the disc spinning up and slowing down when you restart the computer.
