Leaving my powerbook on for 7 days solid?

DOes anyone think theres anything wrong with leaving my powerbook 17" on for 7 days. I'm going to try and set up entourage X to reply "out of the office" whilst I'm away. I suppose I can dim the screen right donw and just leave it on. What do you think?
 
If you want to protect your computer (while you are not there) by going to the Security Icon in System Preferences and check the Tab to require a password to wake from sleep or screen saver.
 
I have just one recommendaton is that you raise the powerbook so that air woudl evntilate below. Causes of electrical failure are heat and dust. I have a product from www.alzamela.com to keep my powerbook cool at all time.

I will if you just sleep the display ONLY. The computer is still running and email will still get by the email program you have running (as long as you have automatically check for email).
 
yes, display only to sleep, and it will be fine.
i've got one mac running .. uptime now 93 days and still going. :)
