Lexmark and jaguar

Im having problems with jaguar and my lexmark x73. Under os 10.1.5 it worked great but now with the same drivers i used in 10.1.5 dont work in jag. I thought lexmark was one of jaguars supporters.
 
Interesting. I have a Lexmark x83 that I never could get working under 10.0.x or 10.1.x. I tried several times quiting only after my iBook's battery gave out.

I downloaded the latest driver today and it installed on the first try. It's still buggy. The print job finishes but print center says it's still printing and consumes 100% of the CPU. I have to kill it manually before the machine is useful again. It sucks but at least it actually works.

What ever happened to "it just works"? I wish my printer worked as well as my digital camera.
