Lexmark x75 Utility Won't Open

I've had a Lexmark x75 printer for a few years now, on my iMac G3 (I believe I had up to 10.3.8 on it). I recently upgraded to OS X 10.4.7 on an iBook G4, and ever since I have, I cannot open the Print Utility. It will either give me an error saying the application has bee closed unexpectedly (and attempting to reopen through the error window didn't work), or just not open altogether.

I downloaded the driver provided by Lexmark, expanded with Decoder, and still nothing.

Is there anything at all I can do?

Thanks,

Jocelyne

There's no way I've found to get the "Lexmark All In One Utility" to work under OS 10.4.x/Tiger. However, the "Lexmark All In One Center" does work under 10.4.x/Tiger, so you can still print, copy, and scan using the X75. Some of the main things you can't do, if you can't get the "Lexmark All In One Utility" to work, is to align the print cartridges, check ink levels, and clean the print head. Some people have reported the "Lexmark All In One Utility" works under OS 10.5.x/Leopard, though I haven't tried it.
