LG L1750HQ Monitor wont' turn on

My MacBook Pro at work running 10.5.5 "sees" the monitor but the display won't turn on and no screen appears. Any ideas?

Your post reads like like it could be a monitor problem rather than a Mac one. Can you try the LG with a different (eg. Win) computer?

Have you checked SysPrefs > Displays to try Detect Displays and to see what resolution, geometry etc is in place?
