linking network location and outgoing mail server

Does anyone know of an application that can manage your location information for both your network, and your outgoing mail server?

I have a powerbook and everytime I connect to a different network I have to select my location to get an ip address - so why not link this to mail so that it also selects your outgoing mail server? Is there a way to edit the network settings to do this?
