linksys router for mac

Hi
I use a macbook pro as well as a vaio with a windows operating system.
Both were working fine with a linksys wireless router until one day the mac stopped connecting to the router.
My vaio still works -- which im guessing is because of the windows operating system
Pls let me know what i need to do to get the mac working again

Have you rebooted/reset the router? The Mac?

Does the Mac "see" the router, but fail to connect? What error messages are given?

What kind of network is the router creating (802.11 a? b? g? n?) and what type of security do you have it set to use (none, WEP, WPA, WPA2, etc.)?

Please be more specific in your description.
