I've been successfully using my PowerBook along with my Linksys wireless-G router for year now, using WEP to keep the neighbors out.
The other day I wanted to give WPA a try. I upgraded the Linksys firmware to the latest version (and powered it off/on). My PowerBook has Airport Extreme Card version 3.4.3f1 (3.50.37.p4) installed.
In my Linksys setup, I turned on WPA Shared Key and set it to a 10 character password (something easy for testing purposes). On the PowerBook I choose my network from the Other... menu item and selected WPA Personal and entered the password. All I get is a meaningless message saying There was an error joining the AirPort network "NetworkNameHere". So, I went back to WEP for now, but I want to know what the deal is with this. Any help would be appriciated.
