Linksys WUSB300N can't detect Airport

I've been searching everywhere for an answer so I thought I would ask some people who might know something about an Airport.

I am using a XP computer with the USB Adapter.
There are 5 other Vista computers connecting to the airport (not at all times)
..and 1 Mac.

I recently bought a Wireless-N Linksys USB Network Adapter and I can not find the airport on the list of possible network connections.

My xbox finds it perfectly and so does all the other computers.

But, I can not connect to the internet with the USB adapter since, I can't even connect to the airport in the first place.

Does anyone know how to find the Airport? *fingers crossed*

So plugged it the N wireless adapter, does System Preferences-Network see it? Does the adapter only do just the N or can it go backwards to G? What version of of OS X on what Mac can help too.
