linux esque window manipulation...

in linux I really like holding doen alt and right clicking anywhere inside a window to re-scale it, also by holding down alt and middle mouse clicking a window you can pan it around. This just save you having to find the title bar and clicking there... very nice. Just wondering if there is a way of doing this in OSX?

Haven't heard of it. The haxie WindowShade X (unsanity.org) has many things it can do to windows (and is also known to crash apps, the system etc....), but I dunno about modifier-keys functions like the ones you mentioned...

USB Overdrive ain't going to change the way that OS X's Finder behaves in the least. It's for configuring the buttons on USB mice and joysticks -- nothing at all to do with manipulating Finder windows.
