I'm experiencing a strange problem with an OS X Lion installation. After turning off automatic login, there are *NO* users except "Guest" listed on the login screen. I know there are 4 users on the system, including 'root', because I can see them from the Recovery Console (Recovery Console>Utilities>Terminal>resetpassword). My login screen consists only of the "Guest" icon and a password entry field. There is no arrow or other indicator which lets me get to a list of users or to a place where I can enter in a username (and password).
