Live Audio In --> iTunes Visual Out?

I am wondering if it is possible to have iTunes do visualization from an input device. I am trying to have live "laser show" style presentation from sound coming into my Mac from either a microphone or mixer. I have access to a large array of sound equipment. I was just wondering if iTunes can do this technique or if anyone is aware of other software designed for immediate visualization from an input.

P.S. For those wondering "what is this crazy kid is cooking up?"... I am attempting to have a live visualization playing along side a presentation of The Flaming Lips' experimental 4-disc "Zaireeka Experiment" album.
 
Get G-Force Standalone. That should do the trick. It's OS 9 only so far but it's more than worth having to boot into OS 9! You can get it at http://www.55ware.com

I recommend careful use when on hallucinatory drugs :D
 
Does anyone know if iTunes can use input devices? That site said SoundJam MP had the ability to do this, however, I am a broke college student. I was wondering if there was a way through "Open Stream..." I could access input devices.
