I've mucked around in illustrator CS2, very nice update, looks more and more like Photoshop and more intergrated with it. But has anyone used the Live trace feature effectively to create vector art?
Like the one below (taken from Macworld's website)
I drew a quick sketch scanned it in Photoshop and opened it in Illustrator and all it did was paint it black. Nothin too spectacular. I'll stick to drawing, scanning and then using the pen tool to create vector's till i figure this thing out.
