loading os x 10.3 server to 10.4 client

I have an older dual 1.ghz G4 that is currently running OS X 10.4n. I have an older licensed server software that is 10.3. I want to keep the machine as both a desktop and a server. However, when I try to load the server software, I get a notice that it will only work on 10.3 client.

My other machines are a mix of intel based running 10.5 and older G4s running 10.4--but still good machines!!

Do I have to dummy down my current dual 1.0 to 1.3 to be able to run both the server and the client. Or...must I blow away the entire 10.4 install and start from scratch. I guess I'm willing to do that but wonder.

thanks.

You cannot have two different Mac OS X installations on one partition.

You cannot install 10.3 Server components onto a 10.4 client installation.

You can install 10.3 Server on a different partition or a different hard drive.
