Greetings:

I am currently using an eMac running Mac OS 10.3.9. Recently (past two weeks or so), I began having issues while using Safari and Firefox, receiving "localized string not found" errors, so far, in the following places:

This error is occurring, so far, in two places:

1. When I am using any of my web-based e-mail accounts (Yahoo, Gmail, etc.) and attempting to attach a file, the "localized string not found" phrase is showing on what would normally be the "Browse" button (to locate the file I want to attach).

2. When I am attempting to listen to streaming webradio by clicking on the streaming link on the station's website (for example, woxy.com), I am receiving the following error and am unable to listen:

“localized string not found” (WebKitErrorDomain:203)

I would greatly appreciate any help because this is driving me crazy! Thanks! :)

You have to dump the Web Kit.
Navigate to System/Library/Frameworks and drag WebKit.Framework into the trash.
Then use Pacifist
http://www.charlessoft.com/

To extract Safari from your 10.3 disc and reinstall it.
