Locked disk after boot HDD upgrade

I upgraded the boot disk on my PowerMac (needed a larger drive) and everything works except for my shared iTunes and iPhoto installs. In each case I moved the data files to a users/shared on the boot HDD so other users on the machine could look at the music and photos.

After the HDD upgrade, iTunes and iPhoto work fine for me, but not for other users. They get the error message:

The folder "iTunes" is on a locked disk or you do not have write permissions for this folder

I'm fairly certain it's a permissions problem, but everything looks OK to me in terms of groups and I've repaired all permissions using the disk utility.

Any suggestions?
