Logic Express and the E-MU Xboard

I have been as yet unable to get any audible sound from the xboard while running my logic express. i am quite the logic novice and have tried messing around with the environment window and channel port settings. the transport shows notes and chords as i tap furiously on the keyboard, but nothing is coming through my speakers. every other song file plays fine.
please help, if you can.

this wont help u but i have the same problem...let me know when u find out please...but thinking it could be that u have to pick your sound card (maybe) but i dont know where the option is to do that...
