We just received our new xserve, what a difference from the old tower we are replacing.
Currently we are only serving a publishing lab, about 15 macs but will be expanding that I'm sure once people get wind of it.
One thing I'd like to change is how they authenticate. Right now their work flow is all in one folder and each machine logs in automatically. I dont' see a need to change the work flow but I'm hoping to up the security and get more accountability on the students.
We are a netware shop still and do not have any AD to speak of so doing the golden triangle is not a option yet. I can manually add every student id, not a huge feat by any means (maybe 30 id's) but just wondering what others are doing and if there are any better options?
