Login Pane "Michael Smith's Computer" How do I change this?

I am trying to change the ownership name on a machine, which appears most visibly when the OS X login screen comes up and it says, "Your Name's Computer".

How can I change this to a different name?

I do not want to format the hard drive and would prefer to not have to reinstall the operating system to get rid of that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the system Preferences under the Sharing Pane is the computer name... This is what you change.
