I upgraded my 933 G4 recently to Jaguar OS then 10.2.2.
Ever since I upgraded to Jaguar, I have a strange problem with login.
If I fail once logging in, for example, by incorrectly typing passwordd, it directly goes into the full screen terminal mode.
Then I have to type my login alias and password.
If I then exit, I am now back to the login screen.
My TiBook, doesn't have this problem. I also upgraded that one from 10.1.5 to jaguar recently.
What can I do?

I, from now on, will always trust those rumors on mac products.
Before I got G4 933, there was a rumor going around that new G4 would be coming out in a month. I nevertheless went ahead and bought one because i got a good deal including rebate and coupons. Sure enough, new G4 came out in a month. In October, I ordered a TiBook. Of course, I checked the rumor forum and there was a rumor about new tibook in a month. Well, I went ahead and bought one. Sure enough, again, new tibooks came out in november...
cheaper and better. So, believe those rumors, guys.
