Logitech 520 Harmony Remote

I have a G4 400mhz machine with igb ram runing system 10.4.3.

I recently purchased a logitech harmony 520 rermote control. I followed al the directions for setiing up the remote, installing the software and setting up an account at logitechs site. However I could never get the setup application to appear on my desktop. The remote was plugged into USB and USN connect apeared on the remote screen. Logitech support made one suggestion the one time I was able to get through to them that was unsuccessful. Has any one here done this installation?

I had the same problem with an older Harmony remote product but I cured it by going into the members area and doing the USB connection check in the support area. This downloads a small app that checks your USB connection. I had a bad adapter cable (I had purchased one of those cables with interchangable ends and it did not work). I replaced the cable and re did the USB Check and everything worked fine.
