Logitech Quickcam Sphere MP

I am looking for a webcam to work with my powerbook G4. The Logitech site suggests the Quickcam Sphere MP for use on the Mac. Does anyone have any experience as to whether it works or not. I need it for video using Skype. The isight may or may not be replaced in October, depending on where you read but unless it shrinks drastically in size and price it is not an option.

I have a Micro Orange PCI Firewire card with ADS webcam from my
old OS 9 Computer. Failed tork on my G4 any suggestion.

I am having problems right now with my camera. I cannot get it to connect to my mac. I have an iMac G5 and I have looked everywhere for a driver that will set it up on my mac. However, it seems that there are no drivers for this version. The regular orbit has one but not the orbit MP. Anybody have any answers?
