Logitech scroll mouse OS X

One feature I like about my LogiTech mouse in OS 9 was the capability to have one click of the scroll wheel move up or down one page. LogiTech software for OS X doesn't have this feature and I find "accelerated" scrolling a poor substitute. Does USB Overdrive offer this feature?

Mozilla allows custom configuration of a wheel mouse's wheel. It's located here:

Preferences | Advanced | Mouse Wheel

This configuration in Mozilla is pure bliss feature overkill. "Scroll the document by X lines", "use system default", "Scroll a page up or a page down", "Move back and forward in the browsing history", "Make text larger or smaller". You can also set modifier keys to do a combination of these functions with the mouse wheel.

You can do almost anything with Mozilla.

Thanks. Using Mozilla's prefs I can set the wheel action to scroll x lines and that is a big improvement for me. However, on my system the modifier keys don't seem to work. I configure them to do different things, but I end up just scrolling x lines. I take it, the keys do work as expected for you. I wonder what makes the difference?

You can try using USB Overdrive to help make your mouse more configurable in OS X. I have a Logitech Cordless Mouse Man w/ USB Overdrive and enjoy using it a lot. The only downside is that I can't see the battery life, but when my mouse starts jumping all over the place, I think I know it's time for a change of batteries ;)

Any idea why my the Logitech control panel in Jaguar doesn't see my mouse while it IS working?

The only bug I have when scrolling in Explorer with the wheel, the mouse dissappears while the pages scrolls...

I installed the new driver and it seems to work, but still same bug in Explorer!

When I use the scrollwheel, the mouse dissappears and only returns back in view after moving the mouse a little, kinda annoying.

Btw installed Netscape 7 and wow, it's nice! It does not have this same mouse bug.
