Looking for an old keyboard map applikation

Or well, an app that does the same thing at least.

Back in the day when I was running Os7 and Os9 I had a keymap system extension installed and everytime I put my mouse in the top left corner (you could change the corner) a keymap rolled out from that position.

When rolled out you could see what all keys where doing, if pressing command+alt the keymap showed the characters for that, if pressing shift+alt ...

The keymap was similar to the one I've attached here.

Does anyone know of a similar application for OS X?

The Keyboard Viewer still exists in Mac OS X. In 10.5 and earlier, enable Keyboard Viewer as an Input Source in the International pane of System Preferences, or use KeyViewer. In 10.6, the control is in the Language & Text pane.
