looking for high end scanner solution

Anybody have any recommendations for a high speed color document scanner that can handle 11X17 sized paper and which plays nice with Macintosh? My company is currently looking into a PC-based solution and I would like to avoid that at all costs.

Any advice greatly appreciated.
