Looking for Roland TB-303 Software OS X Native

drunkmac

has a mac beyond repair
Im looking for a solution. I need a software based TB-303 bass machine that is OS X native (classic doesnt work anymore for me) and isnt Propellerhead's Rebirth (because its OS 9 only). Anyone able to help me out? Ive found no such luck...and I cant afford a real 303 because....yeah. Thanks!

Sorry for digging this poast up but here goes if you are still looking...

I dont know of any 303 emulators out there that would do the trick. There are one or 2 for Windows but nothing for the Mac OS X side of things I know of (unless oyu buy Reason)

However, ReBirth is now free (since it was discontinued) so maybe you can get the PC version and run it in emulation under Virtual PC?

DL it here:

Who can afford a real 303? Even the trashiest ones are way over priced at at least a few hundred bucks. You might find a groovebox or 303 in a pawnshop if you are lucky thats under $400 MAYBE...

What about something like this (if you go hardware):

Its much cheaper than a 303 for sure. I now nothing about it.

That's the price of popularity with vintage synths. Consider the Moog synths. And now that Moog has passed away, you know that the prices for the Moog synths are going to skyrocket even more if they haven't done so already.

Still searching for an EML ElectroComp 101 . Now THAT was a cool analog synth. ;)

Sadly, I had my hands on a 303 way before I knew what it was. And I gave it up because at the time I had no interest.

I keep hoping to find a GrooveBox in good condition thats not totally outrageous.
