looking for simple audio software to encode mp3's from built-in mic

anyone got any ideas? My Amadeus software shareware expired ;)

I need an OSX app because SoundJam can't use the built-in mic in classic mode

And Amadeus isn't worth $25?! Considering what you get for your money, I thought it was well worth it!

Anyway, You could try Sound Studio, which has been fixed so it doesn't garble sound files after you've edited them (which is nice). It's another shareware, but it'll give you another 30 days :D .

Another one isSoundTrax which is still in its infancy (v0.2), but seems fairly good - I've only used it briefly, however.
