Looking For The Best Solution To Backup Apple Mail Client?

Hello, I am looking for the best solution to backup apple mail client. Time machine is acting up all wierd and i am not able to fix it. I need a quick solution that wont hassle me up for long and gives indtant and god results. Thanks

You can use the Archive feature in Mail. It’s in the Message Menu. You can archive by day, week or month - by selecting the emails you want backed up.

Thanks for all the replies, i know that i am replying quite late, I found the solution in Mail backup x application (http://www.mailbackupx.com/). This application is so cool that it can backup from all my email clients available n mac and I can backup on my hard drive, any external storage as well as on ftp server. All these features were very eye-catching but I became a fond of this tool after I saw all these features functioning properly without any hitch. Thanks all for the help.
