Lost all address book contacts

I just got a lovely new MacBook combidrive and I needed to transfer all my college files from my G4 iMac (10.3.9) so following advice in machelp, I connected them both via ethernet (no suitable firewire to hand) but for some reason the only way I could do it was to drag my home folder onto the desktop so I did so and dragged the files across. So far so good. I also wanted to import the ical but I had to drag the library file onto the desktop to do so as well. No problem dragged everything ok.

go back to my imac and put the files back where they belonged and not only are all my ical to dos etc gone, but also my address book is totally wiped! Now I've kind of managed to locate the ical info because I had to find it via finder to transfer it in the first place and the different calenders have distinctive names so are easy to find, but I have no idea where my address book has gone and I really need it. Any ideas?

Thanks, Liz

AddressBook's contact info is stored at
[your home folder] / Library / Application Support / AddressBook
just drag that AddressBook folder to it's equal location in the hard drive while addressbook is not running. That should do it.
