Lost audio support after DiskWarrior fix

Hi all,

I had some problems on my Mac OS X 10.1 system yesterday, and ended up running DiskWarrior while booted in OS 9 to fix it. However, after running DW, I was left with a new "Untitled" folder on the desktop that contained the following files:

AOAHALPlugin.bundle
AppleBurgundyAudio.kext
AppleDACAAudio.kext
AppleDBDMAAudio.kext
AppleOWScreamerAudio.kext
AppleScreamerAudio.kext
AppleTexasAudio.kext

The system is a PowerMac G4/733.

The problem is that once I rebooted into OS X, I no longer had audio
support. QuickTime player tells me that I'm missing software, iTunes just
doesn't work, and the Sound preference pane shows now output devices.

If I run kmodstat, it doesn't show any audio related extensions running. I tried to manually load the audio extensions, but it tells me that it's missing "IOAudioDevice"

Any assistance in fixing this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

The easiest way to cure your problem is to reinstall OS X. Folks who are used to earlier Mac OS's cringe at this suggestion, but it is a very quick and easy process. You don't need to back up anything before reinstalling, because all that happens is the installer CD replaces only system files that have been deleted or altered.
