Lost file in trash

How do I retrieve photo library from trash?

Which Trash? The one in iPhoto or the main one in your Dock? By the way what version of OS X are you running?

OSX 10.4.11
I guess I dumped it into the main trash can, not the I photo trash. There are now, no photos in I photo.

Have you deleted the trash yet? if not you can open the trash and drag the IPhoto folder back to your home folder.
