Lost permission to access folder

My wife and I have been sharing on /user/shared/iphoto/ six iphoto libraries. All of a sudden, her user has no rights at all to access them. iPhoto is locked or disk is locked etc..

I tried repair disk permissions, didn't help. How can i get her full access as she had it to what is supposed to be a shared folder anyhow?

Disk permissions does not do anything for that folder.

Highlight the folder and do a Get Info (Command+I). Then look at the permissions (details section). My shared folder is set to Ownership (read+write) Owner (system-read+write)
Group (wheel-read+write) Others (read+write)

You may have to unlock it (click the little lock icon) and use an admin password to change anything.
