Lost sidebar network icon

I've managed to drag the *Network* icon off the side bar in finder, hoping I could just drop it on the dock. I learned that while you can drop folders from finder on the dock you can't drop folders from the sidebar on the dock.

I'm running os 10.4.5.

To add 'Network' back to a 'Finder's volume / folder window's Sidebar:
01. Select 'Finder' on the 'Dock' or click on the 'Desktop'.
02. Select 'Finder's 'Finder' Preferences' menu item.
03. Click on the 'Sidebar' toolbar icon button.
04. Locate and click on the 'Network' check box, to add a check mark.
05. Close the window.

To add 'Network' to the 'Dock'.
01. With any 'Finder' volume / folder window displayed, press and keep pressed the 'Command' key, as you click on the title of the window. A popup menu will appear.
02. Select the bottom most item. A window will appear.
03. Drag the 'Network' icon, from the window, onto the 'Dock'.
