Lost Trash Icon

Running os9.2 on g4 powermac, have lost the Trash icon.
How can I get this back?

It may be off the screen. Lower the screen resolution and see it it's there.

How are your other icons on the desktop? You may need to restart the computer and immediately hold down the option and Apple key. Continue to hold down the two keys until you get a dialog box asking if you wish to do a desktop rebuild. This will come up after the extensions load at the bottom. When that dialog box comes up, release the keys and click on the okay button.

Your trash can should come back.
