If you're gonna buy string to connect your tin cans (if your isp doesn't support wireless) shop around 'cause they're $10 at best buy but only $3 at radio shack.

I say don't even buy it. It's likely that the people who live next door to you throw out string from time to time. Just go through their trash every day, and you'll find some eventually. If you want to get it sooner, I've often found that a lot of people just leave rope lying around near docks. You just have to untie it from the boat.

Hey yeah, didn't think about that. Actually.. if you root through the dumpters behind best buy & stuff, they actually THROW STRING AWAY!!! (from time to time). It's amazing what you can find.
