Hey all-
I have a printer on my ethernet network, an HP 2100 TN. It works fine in all gui environments; I can print from any OSX or classic application to it just fine.
However, I am not having any success getting it to work with the command line. I have a number of text files, postscript, whatever, that I simply want to use lpr with, but for the life of me cannot figure out how to set up.
I was fiddling with lpq, but I read somewhere that NetInfoManager is the master control for all that, and lpq would simply defer to it (is this true?).
Either way, it has me stumped: there's no clear way to add a printer in NetInfoManager, and lpq just will not lock on to the printer.
Thanks for any info,
Zesty
