#1 Rhapsody Mac Guru Oct 17, 2009 #2 Sounds like it is an iBook with a bad logic board. There are some was to fix it (here and maybe something here), but they require some know how with computers and can be quite dangerous. Does the iBook play a boot chime when the button is pressed?
