Mac 10.4.11 upgrade

I was given a PowerMac G5 2.3 duo 2 core processor 10.4.11 OS X. What I want to know if it's possible to upgrade the OS to 10.6 Leopard and if so, what step do I need to take to achieve this?
 
No, your PowerMac G5 cannot upgrade past OS X 10.5.8 (which is called Leopard)
10.6 (Snow Leopard) and higher are for intel Macs only.

If you want to upgrade to 10.5, you will need to purchase a copy of the 10.5 (Leopard) installer.
