I have recently purchased a Apple Express card. It was one of the older 11 mbps cards. I have it located in a iMac G4 800 mhz edition. With 10.5 installed. Whenever I try to connect to my wireless router which is a Linksys WRT54G I get a "connection timeout" error .. It does the same while using WPA and unsecured network. After trying this a few times, the card eventually doesn't pick up my network. After a shut down for about 5 minutes the card picks up the network again, but times out every time. The router is located in my guest bedroom which is a wall away. Any opinions on this issue that I'm having? Thank you in advanced!

I wouldn't suppose a trendnet card would work with this? Haha likely not, but just a wonder.. Money is tight, and I'm afraid that I have got a defective airport card.

I suppose I could do that. It hasn't been updated in around 4 years. I have also tried the card in a PowerMac G4. No worky for it either. I've noticed it keeps the network available, until I use the Airport utility in the Utilities folder, after I try using that the airport doesn't pick up my network at all. Further more I've tried it on 10.3 and 10.5 and it has the same issue. I'm thinking of trying it in my iBook G3 with 10.1 next.
