when plugging in my charger, I get a (not charging) notice.
The batterie and the hard disk are under a year old. what could be the problem

Simplest could very likely just debris on either end of mag charger plug. Use an old clean toothbrush dry. Other than that, it could be the charger circuit, cord, or even the charger brick itself. You're under warranty, so have Apple check it out if need be.
