Mac can see all EXCEPT ONE shared folder on PC

I have an iBook G4 (OS X 10.4.x) on a network with a Windows XP machine. The PC has three shared folders: S's Documents, D's Documents, and Shared Documents. All three are marked as shareable.

On the Mac I can see all three folders. And I can see the files in S's Documents and Shared Documents; but NOT the files in D's Documents! In other words, the D's Documents folder looks empty (but I know there're files in there.) I've checked and rechecked the sharing properties on the PC for all three folders and they seem to be identical.

To see if it's something to do with the files in D's Documents, I sat on the PC and moved one of the files from D's Documents into one of the other folders (that're fully visible from the Mac). And the file is then visible in that other folder from the Mac. So the files are ok.

If I sit on the Mac and try to move the file back to D's Documents, it says "Sorry the operation could not be completed because an unexpected error occurred (Error code - 1407).

So it must something to do with the folder. Any ideas?

Thanks so much.
